How to change the white background to transparent using Photoshop? And how to save it?

For changing the white background to transparent background: 

• Photoshop > upload or drag and drop your image file into photoshop, 
• Click magic wand tool > click the white background > then delete/click backspace.

for saving the image:

• Click file > save as > format > choose PNG ( ''PNG'' ''PNS'' ).
